Congrats, Bailey!

November 9, 2018 - Dr. Bailey Peck has accepted a Medical Science Liaison position at Shire Pharmaceuticals in their GI Unit.  She will be ending her NIH NRSA Fellowship and leaving the Seeley & Sandoval labs in November. We are sad to see her go, but excited for her new career opportunity!


Aug 31, 2018 - Dr. Bailey Peck receives a 2-year F32 NRSA Postdoctoral Fellowship awarded by NIDDK. Her proposed research focuses on understanding the role of non-coding RNAs in extracellular vesicles in the intestinal mucus in mediating response to bariatric surgery. Go Team SLiME!

July 1, 2018 - Dr. Chelsea Hutch begins 3-year American Diabetes Association Postdoctoral Fellowship, which she was awarded last December. Chelsea's research focuses on sex differences in response to bariatric surgery.

July 1, 2018 - Dr. Elika Ridelman has accepted a Research Associate position at Children's Hospital of Michigan & Wayne State University. She will also be serving as an Adjunct Professor at Lawrence Technological University.
